The Law of Attraction
The ‘Law of Attraction’ is a concept that many people don’t understand, and of course, there will always be those who don’t want to, as it doesn’t fit, or seems to challenge, their closely held beliefs.
LOA is not a law or decree by a particular body or organization. It is a naturally occurring phenomenon. Although LOA can seem very new-wave and even trendy, it has been appreciated and utilized by humankind for a very long time.
It has not always been called the Law of Attraction, but that doesn’t matter, the naming is not what makes it effective.
Throughout human history, those people who have understood the concept of the Law of Attraction, and have applied the principles that essentially, make it what it is, have prospered.
They have attracted to themselves those things – tangible, like people and belongings, and intangible, like happiness – that make life more joyous and fulfilling.
Used Without Knowing
Many people use the LOA in their lives without even being aware they do and seem to attract success in all its forms will seemingly little effort. Others have learned the principles of the LOA and applied them to their lives and their thinking and have made their lives so much richer because of it.

The Law of Attraction is possibly the most powerful law in the universe. It’s the single thing that enables us to become agents of creation. It doesn’t matter who you are, where you come from, or what challenges you have.
It’s a universal law, always in effect like gravity, and understanding it is key for anyone to change, to improve their lives, and to succeed.
The Law of Attraction states that you attract into your life anything that you focus repeatedly and intensively on. Whatever receives a great part of your attention or what you focus on will ultimately come back to you.
The law is founded on the premise that people, as well as their thoughts, are made out of pure energy. And energy attracting similar energy enables the person to manifest their thoughts as reality.
When you feel positive emotions such as joy and gratitude, you are sending out positive energy to the universe. And when you focus on negative emotions like anger, worry, or frustration, you are attracting more of these kinds of energy.
The universe, through the Law of Attraction, will respond to you and to the kind of energy you send out. However, the universe itself is a neutral force. It can’t decide on its own which one is better for you, it only responds to what you send out by giving you more of it.
It acts as a mirror, so your reality reflects what you put out in your thoughts and emotions. You, as the agent of creation, and bearer of the energy that you want to attract more of should ensure that you send out thoughts, feelings, and energy that is aligned to what you want to attract more in life.
It’s a lot like operating with the end result in mind. By having a clear picture of what you want to achieve, you embody it to the universe through your thoughts and emotions, until it manifests.
That’s essentially how the Law of Attraction works.
Understanding the concept of law of attraction is one thing; applying it into your life is another. Enabling the law of attraction to work in your life does not stop at understanding how it works, but entails a deliberate and conscious choice to grasp its full meaning, and ultimately letting this law of the universe work for you through consistent action.
Letting the law of attraction work for you involves a three-step process:
The Law of Attraction specifies that to get what you want; you need to ask for it. The intention is key in deliberately creating something that we want from life. Asking is done through the thoughts and feelings that we give attention to and focus on.
First, you need to decide on a specific thing that you want; it has to be clear enough for the universe to hear and not get confused about. Second, you have to practice feeling as if its already done, or a part of your life.
The clearer and more focused your intention is, the easier it is for the universe to echo back those feelings to you, and the sooner the universe can make it happen.
By setting your clear intention in the asking part, you have already set the wheels in motion. The second step you need to do is to maintain a sense of positive expectancy by living your life with certainty; trusting that what you asked for will certainly become a reality soon.
The essence of the law of attraction is in believing. You could desire and ask for anything you want, but naturally, be hindered by your so-called limiting beliefs.
Usually, these are unconscious beliefs that put us in a default mode of operation, such as internally believing that you’re not good enough for something so big, even if you want it.
This means you are putting out conflicting messages, which hinders the law of attraction from working effectively for you. When you believe in yourself as being deserving of all of the things you asked for, it is easier for you to take action.
Thoughts and actions together are a potent combination for the reality of dreams and achievement of success.
Lastly, you need to become a vibrational match for your dream. If you desire success, the easiest thing to get closer to it, in reality, is by focusing on creating positive emotions of joy and gratitude – feeling as if that thing you wanted is already unfolding right in front of you.
You can practice these positive and receptive emotions by consciously choosing to think of positive thoughts. Thoughts fuel emotion, so the more positive your thoughts are, the more the emotions derived from them would be naturally positive, too.
Do this consistently, and you’re on the way to attracting more abundance, love, success, and joy in your life.

Understanding how the law of attraction works without taking any action is a little better than not knowing about it at all. Even though the Law of Attraction is one of the most powerful laws of the universe, there are ways and means to amplify its effectiveness.
Action leads to results, and this is why you need to take the first step towards making the law of attraction work in your life. Vision boards as a visual representation of your dreams are remarkably effective in drawing those dreams into reality. It lets you see things before they have manifested into a physical state.
They exist, but only as energy. Continued focus is what transforms the energy into reality.
Vision boards allow you to make specific choices and zero in on what you want, focusing on attracting those things that are most meaningful and desirable to you. The more specific the intention, the more effectively the law of attraction works, and vision boards force you to very specific.
A vision board process is an act of visualization, a very powerful technique that you can use while applying the law of attraction to increase the chances of manifesting something happening in your life as quickly as possible.
Vision boards translate an abstract idea in your mind into something tangible, clear, and specific. Through the help of pictures, affirmations, and detailed images, creating your desired future with your mind is clearer and easier.
Liken it to a blueprint of a house or building, which works as the main guide for the architect and the engineer, fine-tuning every piece of detail in the construction process. A vision board works just the same way for anybody who creates one and utilizes it.
In the process of creating a vision board, the act of choosing which images to place on it, selecting which words or affirmations to use, and considering the real estate space every single image takes up in your vision board’s limited area, all play a factor in helping you to get clarity on what you really want.
In doing so, you can’t help but uncover some of the potential roadblocks that could keep you from allowing the law of attraction to work in your life.
Vision boards are even more effective when you consider where you place them at home or in the office. Wherever the placement of your vision board is, what’s important is that you can see it frequently.
As a visual reminder, you’ll want to place it where you can see it all the time as an inspiring source of motivation that your dream is on its way to you.
When you’re trying to attract more success in your life, you’d like your vision board to be one of the very first things you see the moment you wake up in the morning. You could also place it in your office to keep you going when things are challenging, helping you to stay motivated.
As a tool that feeds ideas into our subconscious, vision boards work very effectively in conditioning our minds. It works wonders on the brain, acclimatizing you to the specific details of the kind of world you are attracting and the future that you are creating.
When a concept is vague inside our minds, any limiting beliefs easily block the image from becoming a reality. But with every detail laid out specifically and intentionally, your unconscious mind understands the dream that you are working towards.

The universal law of attraction maintains that those things that we focus most on, giving our intense thoughts, emotions, and attention to, we naturally attract.
Due to the principle of “like attracts like,” we create positive energy by sending out positive emotions. Similarly, by feeling negative emotions and focusing on them, this causes us to attract more negative situations into our lives.
We aren’t often conscious of these patterns, except for the emotions that we continue to submit ourselves mindlessly to. Our thoughts and emotions are mainly a product of the subconscious mind. Whenever something happens and we react in a certain way, that response is greatly dictated by the subconscious mind.
Playing the role of an obedient servant, the subconscious mind stores away all habits of thinking and patterns of behavior from the past, working to make sure that you operate in the same way you always did – even from when you were little.
The unconscious memory is flawless in terms of recording the emotion attached to all of your life experiences; it memorizes all your comfort zones and protects the equilibrium by ensuring that you keep the same reactions as you once did in the past.
The subconscious mind is charged with your safety. It equates sameness with safety and sees change as a threat to survival. This is how your subconscious mind can work against you in changing habits.
How the Mind Works
Due to the nature of the mind and how it works – especially the subconscious mind governing all our thought patterns – willpower isn’t enough in our pursuit of success. The comfort zone is the realm of the subconscious mind and any type of change is treated as a threat to this equilibrium.
Making any type of change is not friendly to our subconscious minds. It is uncomfortable and therefore, it feels very hard. You are breaking the pattern. Something new will always be working against the entrenched patterns of the subconscious mind. The good news is, no matter how uncomfortable it feels, persistently making suggestions to the subconscious mind with new patterns of thought and feelings will eventually rewire our subconscious.
One very effective way of doing this is through positive, daily affirmations.

Positive affirmations are positive statements that you choose to consciously say to yourself repeatedly, day in and day out, to reprogram your subconscious mind with new patterns of thinking.
Inspire and Motivate
Affirmations inspire and motivate you to be better. They help you overcome inner barriers and self-doubt. And they hold the secret to conquering those limiting beliefs.
By consistently impressing your subconscious mind with positive affirmations, you are preparing to receive life’s abundance. Daily affirmations also work in conjunction with other law of attraction techniques, founded on the understanding of how powerful the mind works when it is open to receiving, and geared to attracting and creating new and better things.
Daily affirmations gradually change the way you think for the better, helping you transform your life one day at a time.
Just as exercise is required by the body daily, so are positive affirmations required by the mind on a consistent, daily basis. Affirmations can be said anytime during the day, but they’re most effective when said early in the morning when you are just about to begin your day.
It helps you to more effectively set the tone for your day. It builds up energy right at the very beginning and helps you start out with a positive frame of mind. Build on this positive start by affirming to yourself throughout the day, especially when you need to shake off feelings of negativity.
To use positive affirmations daily, here’s what you should do:
- Take three big, deep breaths. Inhale and exhale, counting to ten.
- Stand in front of the mirror and look yourself directly in the eyes.
- Smile if that feels natural for you.
- Now say your affirmation loudly and clearly while looking yourself in the eye.
- Repeatedly say the affirmation at least 3 to 5 times, mindfully focusing on the meaning of each word that you say to yourself.
- Take another three big, deep breaths. To allow yourself to take in all the positive energy and meaning of the affirmations to heart.
Types of Positive Affirmations
There are various types of daily affirmations that you can use to say to yourself every day. It depends on what you are trying to attract and which limiting belief you are trying to conquer and change.
Positive affirmations are very effective techniques for
establishing a mindset that is positive and ready to receive greater abundance
- Affirmations for the self-image are also known as “I am” affirmations. They create a world of difference by speaking directly to the heart of your self-concept, helping you to build the confidence and self-belief you need to achieve greater things.
Example: “I deserve only the best and I am attracting things for my greater good!”
- Affirmations for love and romance help you attract loving relationships in your life by building up your self-confidence and ability to find love that you desire. It encourages you to believe that true love is possible, even helping you to attract a soulmate.
Example: “I attract healthy and loving relationships into my life and I am deserving of it!”
- When you are trying to attract more abundance into your life, you should try money affirmations. They help us see our relationship with money in a better light, understanding the real value of money in life, thereby allowing us to attract and create more of it.
Example: “Money is attracted to me and wealth flows to me effortlessly!”
- Healing affirmations empower and strengthen you, highlighting the belief that you can go past any kind of hardship or pain. It lets you access your deepest sources of strength.
Example: “I let go of my pain and suffering and choose love at all times!”
It is not so much that the Law of Attraction works. It just is. It is part of your life, and everyone else’s too. What differs is what is being attracted.
This is where real power lives. By understanding what the LOA is, and understanding how it works, we can consciously choose to draw to us those things that we truly desire, and that will enrich our lives.
Ask and You Will Receive
‘Ask and ye shall receive’ is a powerful principle, but many people do not know how to harness its power and promise. By utilizing the ideas put forward in this report, you will be able to develop the power to move from ‘asking’ to ‘receiving’.
The Law of Attraction, at its most basic, is about doing what you can to provide the mental and physical environment that will be most conducive to receiving that which you truly want.
